PROJECT BACKGROUND

Hi! Did you know, snake species identification problem is very critical as most of the people are unable to recognize types of snake instantly. You can take a picture of the snake, but only if the snake doesn't disappear quickly. According to statistics by Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, there are about 52.9% of the snakebites cases where the species are unidentified. An anti-venom can save a life but we must ensure that the correct anti-venom is provided for a snake bite. Otherwise, it won't be affected at all or it could be worse. Hence, it is crucial to identify the snake type prior to getting a proper treatment.
